La Luna

Tonight we went to La Luna on Third Road,
Diana in front of one of my aquariums all dressed up and ready to go!
we strike the pose!
as does Jeff and Da,
a poor picture, but La Luna is on Third Road going from Pattaya Central to Pattaya North on the left hand side near the golf driving ranges,
Diana, Jeff and Da outside the huge La Lanu door,
and I had to have my picture taken with the girls as well!
inside was very clean and smart, waiting for the menus,
Jeff and Da,
complementary starters, pumpkin soup, prawn in vinegar and spicy tomato baby clams,
mixed cold meat starter for Jeff and Da,
and salmon and asparagus,
for me salmon and asparagus with watercress sauce,
for Diana a huge bowl of minestrone soup, which was to much for her, so I had to help out!
for the main courses Da had seabass,
Jeff had pork with vegetables, for me boiled lamb shank, which was delicious!
we also had some Parma ham for us all to share,
Diana had chicken in a cheese sauce,
and a few glasses of wine,
for desert lemon and vanilla sorbet,
for me a very nice creme bulea,
Diana with the manageress from Italy Tatiana,

our chef for the evening, but I have to say I did not catch his name, all in all a really top place to eat, the only slight criticism is the corkage charge, we always have the same 2 liter bottle of Corllro red, every other restaurant we have been to has charged 3-400 baht corkage, but here the charge is per liter so the corkage charge added a whopping 800 baht to the bill, the price almost of a starter and main course! but all in all a very memorable evening the food and service first class, then meal per couple was 2,400 but remember we had 5 or 6 starters between us and that did include 400 baht corkage per couple, looking forward to trying another restaurant next week, Cheers!
