Another Saturday Bar-b-q At 388,

Jay and Precil were the first arrive, with as you can see,
a huge box of Dunkin' Donuts, a great favorite all round!
soon joined by Mick and Mas, the girls walked down to the market to buy some more food and some of those small really sweet oranges that the markets are awash with right now,
then Big Jim called in, he really pulled all of the stops out this week, the sauce that made such a big impact with everyone last week he used in an excellent chili-con-carne this week, it was so nice yet again friends asked him to market it,
Mick started the afternoon with a cup of tea, as did Mr. Tony and
and Tom,
then the vodka started to flow! here Mr. Tony is trying to give Mick directions, but the map being drawn on the table is upside down from Mick's perspective, all found very amusing by Tom!
eventually the map is drawn!
then time for the excellent chili-con-carne with fresh bread and butter, but I have forgotten we saved some Polish sausages that Jeff brought along last week for Mr.Tony to try, well they were so nice and disappeared so fast I did not get time to take a picture of them! many thanks to Jeff, who just coincidentally phone from America shortly afterwards, he is fine but is snowed in with 24 inches of snow falling in 24 hours, well to cold for me!
many thanks to Big Jim in preparing all of this, a really difficult task if you live in a hotel where cooking in the rooms I believe is not allowed!
it was then sausages, chicken and pork that Mr. Tony, Tom and we brought along,
back to the kitchen where Mas cooks the shrimps, there were loads of them! they had been in the fridge for a couple of hours, but remarkably were still alive, so one was given a new lease of life as Diana put one in one of the fish tanks, I have just looked this morning and it appears to be doing fine,
Mick and Mr. Tony and food, it was all excellent and for me and I am sure all of the others a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon/early evening,
waiting to see who will start first!
Diana and myself looking at the prawns,
and the girls tucking in downstairs,
by the way not a single Dunkin' Donut made it's way upstairs!
Mr. Tony having a nap, but in all fairness he was only pretending, it was another 20 minuets before he really nodded off!
then Mike and Riza arrived, and in a stroke of luck there was so much food that there was plenty for them, well time to tell another Saturday night joke, this one again from Mr. Tony,
"Why aren't there any telephone directories in China?"
"Because there are so many Wings and so many Wongs the wrong Wing might ring the wrong number!" Boom! Boom!
