Next Stop The Million Years Stone Park,

it also houses the crocodile farm, this is out side, the admission charges are 300 baht for visitors, 120 baht for Thai's and those with a Thai driving licence,

as you go in there is a shrine,

and a few examples of petrified wood,

Diana and Kai strike the pose,

like all of the parks I have been to over the past 25 or so years of visiting Thailand, every park I have visited is so well maintained, not a piece of litter any where,

and the gardens maintained so well,

time to have a food break, local noodles for Kai,

chicken fried rice for I think Steve, but certainly for me,

and a pork dish for Diana,

the tigers here were all awake, this one had just eaten, I think he was looking at me for dessert!

well maybe I did not look that good after all!

I have to say it the tigers here looked much better than their cousins in the Tiger Temple we visited near the River Kwai,

they all seemed to know what was happening around them,

then on to the crocodile show, this is the sign at the far end of the show ground,

I have heard of holding a tiger by the tail (not to be recommended!) but this is how you hold a crocodile by the tail,

head to head with a crocodile,

'please do not bite me!'

it was fascinating, daring, dangerous stuff, even more scary was the look on some of the audiences faces!

after the show another quick walk brought us past some more gardens to the fish pond, here they keep some of the giant Mekong catfish,

you can buy some food for them at 20 baht a plate full, these fish look huge, about 80 or so kilos, but they are still baby's! their Latin name is (Pangasianodon gigas),

after feeding the catfish we walked over some of the ponds containing more crocodiles,

to the main large lake,

Kai wanted to go crocodile fishing,

first a bamboo pole with a dead chicken attached,

dangle over the waiting crocodiles,

and wait,

normally not to long!

then a walk past some more tigers, a baby tiger has a belly rub,

past another youngster,

and another enclosure offering crocodile fishing,

a last pose in the gardens, then home to 388,
