Today I Was Going To Spend Some Time On The Railway,

but the best laid plans so often go array, just as I was going upstairs after breakfast Juu called round with a few beers, plus some that we had in the fridge meant we were in for an afternoons drink, Diana supplied a few nibbles to keep us happy, shortly after Juu left Mark called in to say Hi and see how my bidding on some stamps was coming along, then all to soon it was time for a night on the town, we do not normally go out on a Saturday evening so it would be interesting to see how many travel down from Bangkok for the weekend, at the beginning of Soi Blues Factory the owners of the seafood restaurant there has made this water feature,
then turning left we past the 'old' Simon beer bar complex, past the Rolling Stone Bar 2, great music there every time we walk past, but too loud for us,
it was only 8.30 in the evening so no customers in the bars as yet,
going towards Soho Square things are getting very quiet,
Diana had a quick look at the handbag store just past there then we made our way back,
the singer from the Rolling Stone bar was in the street, watched by the lady selling wigs on the corner,
Peppermint has now got a new entrance, before it was up the escalators at the end of the Marine bar, now the entrance has moved to just opposite the 7 - 11,
the brand new LED sign says it all, then in to Champions, it was over the evening quite full doing steady business all night long, whilst there Brian and Sal called in for a few drinks,
at about midnight Juu very kindly gave us a lift home, this is the shrine outside the VC Hotel, when we said our good byes to Juu we settled down to watch Kavanagh QC, Men of Substance, Kavanagh faces one of his more difficult cases, concerning two drug dealers, what makes it complicated are the validity(or lack of it) of the evidence and that shifty Kevin Gregson has started threatening Kavanagh and his wife, great episode, then to bed.
