First Thing,

well after I finished the blog and had breakfast, it was to a very crowded Friendship, we were going to buy a bottle of wine to take to Mr. Tony's, for some reason the traffic was almost at a standstill on Pattaya Tai, the ongoing road repairs along the bottom of Pattaya Tai where it leaves Walking Street I guess is the cause, then off to Mr. Tony's, as always when we arrive he was preparing food in the kitchen,
one of his many dogs lazing in the sun, recently it has been quite chilly at nights, we almost turned the fan off one evening,
Booie was outside cooking some spare ribs on the bar-b-q,
joined by Diana,
because of all of the recent rain, everything out here is lush and green,
last week Booie received a call from one of the neighbours, the lady had gone into labour before she could get into hospital, so Booie became the midwife and delivered the child,
Diana poses by the pool, which was a tad too cold for a swim!
next the girls go fishing, first dig up the bait,
next grab the fishing poles,
cast into Mr. Tony's pool and catch a fish,
a tilapia, good eating as many will tell you out here,
the pool looking as immaculate as ever,
the house is built around the pool,
as I mentioned before the garden is now looking really nice,
all of the rain has swollen the size of the fishing pool,
the girls are still busy fishing after we had our meal, UK Waitrose sausages, homemade cottage pie with baked potatoes and fresh rolls all washed down with a nice bottle of wine, many thanks to Mr. Tony and Booie,
the catch for the day,
well I had to have a go!
Booie catches another,
then my turn to pull in a monster!
all to soon it is time for home, so it is bye and many thanks to Mr. Tony and Booie,
first DVD, Rare Birds, we have seen it before but enjoyed watching it again, this is what I wrote before, 'great Gaelic Modern music, a strange but compelling story line and a real feel good factore, the other good thing about it is that I could not think of anyone better than William Hurt to play the lead role' very enjoyable,
next the two Johns, the thing is that some of the subjects in the sketches they are talking about have really come home to roost, if you live in the UK you will know about the problems we are having with our two new aircraft carries, if you do nothing else today listen here to see how the situation came about, for me immensely funny, more to the point surprisingly true,
we rounded off the evening with another film we love to watch more than a few times The Ballad of Cable Hogue, a hobo (Help Our Brothers Out, is what I read somewhere it means), accidentally stumbles onto a water spring, and creates a profitable way station in the middle of the desert, as one reviewer commented, 'the musical background will stay with the viewer long after the final credits have rolled,' the soundtrack was by Jerry Goldsmith, a hugely talented and prolific music writer, then off to bed.
