I Have Put Similar Graphics To This On The Blog Before,

but these are a lot clearer, with politicians and bankers throwing our money around, a trillion here a trillion there, this is what a trillion looks like, well above what a million in crisp £50 notes would look like, just enough to fill a suitcase,
just in case you rob a bank the £1,000,000,000 weighs 23.2 tons, bring a big truck!
the size of almost two football pitches and double stacked! 136 X 116 yards (124 X 106 meters), weighing in at 23.2 million tons, now the technical bit, there are two scales that exist for large powers of 10, long and short scales, under the long scale a trillion was a million billion, which was used in the UK until 1974, then the government changed to the short scale when a trillion became a thousand billion, short or long I do not care either would be enough for me!
