Nick Called To Ask If We Wanted To Go Fishing,

so off we went,
first stop to buy some bait in the tackle shop in Theprisitt Road,
next to Nick and Maureen's house to pick them up, but whilst there a quick look at some of the plants that they have been growing from seed, first these succulent type plants that I do not know the name of,
and some sunflowers,
then to the park just off Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds),
for the first 30 minutes or so there was a continuous background of thunder in the distance, the sky very grey and over cast, but luckily no rain,
then the first of the day,
one for the pot, or I should say bar-b-q,
any minute now!
then number two,
easy does it,
Nick catches his first of the day,
the third for me,
and here comes number four, we fished the afternoon away, the final score being 6 - 3, then back to Nick and Maureen's for our evening meal,
no it was not my ice cream, Diana persuaded me to hold it whilst she took my picture, really!
we both have to thank Nick and Maureen for putting up with us and for a delicious meal, then we got down to the serious stuff, a game of Monopoly, at one stage in the evening Diana had to give me some Monopoly money when she landed on one of my squares, I pretended to examine it saying, 'it could be fake' to with Diana replied, 'no it is genuine' to which we all laughed, genuine fake Monopoly money, well you had to be there I suppose, but it was so funny at the time,
then time to head home where we were greeted by this little chap, we see quite a few of these in the rainy season, having said that it has been raining over the last few days so I guess he came out early,
then feet up for The Fly one & two, great scary effects, but you know when one of the pods opens some will jump out at the lab assistant, but it still made us jump! in the first film Brundle thinks he has ironed out the last problem when he successfully transports a living creature between two pods, but when he attempts to teleport himself a fly enters one of the transmission booths, and Brundle finds he is a changed man, this Science-Gone-Mad film is the source of the quotable quote "Be afraid. Be very afraid," in the second film Brundle's lover Veronica dies whilst giving birth to their son Martin, Brundle's corrupt employer, Bartok, adopts Martin, only so Martin can solve the new problems that the still-functioning TelePods present and to use him as a science project because of the dormant insect genes he inherited, then for us off to bed.
