The House Is Pretty Much Dried Out Now,

but water still kept coming out of some of the kitchen units,

no matter how many times we mopped the water up there was still some there, then we realized, the water purifier was leaking, at first we thought it was through some PTFE tape at the top of the reservoir, but when the engineer called for the six monthly service to change the filters he found it was a hairline crack in the tap at the top of the unit, so off he went to buy another, but none in stock, one will arrive in seven days time from Bangkok, so the unit still works but with out the reservoir at just a trickle,

Mark called round for a cup of tea or two, also I tried the computer, the screen and printer seem to be OK but the power surge units, scanner and computer itself all seem have given up the will to live, hopefully an engineer will call tomorrow to take them away to be repaired/replaced, but then for us off shopping to Friendship, but as we arrived it started to rain, when we went to go home it was time for the wet weather gear,

although still not late the clouds in the sky made it dark,

we stopped on the way home for some soup, by now the rain had stopped but the sky still looked a little ominous,

the food stalls were still busy despite the rain and threatening storm,

Diana had decided it would not rain so she had removed her plastic mac, we made it home some time later, luckily the rain held of till after we arrived home,

after our evening meal we watched the first couple of episodes of the BBC series Sherlock, I had my doubts as to how it would seem having watched so many set so many years ago with this series set in modern times, it was surprisingly good, we both enjoyed the characters and the plots, hopefully the writers will not run out of steam,

we rounded off the evening with another couple from MI5, episode #8.5, everyone is shocked to learn of CIA agent Samuel Walker's death, it's been labeled a suicide but he had made appointment less than an hour before to see Harry Pearce, soon after Walker's death, another American is killed and then a British agent, is there a link? episode #8.6 was our night cap, MI-5 is desperate to find Ryan Baisley, a banker with Dewitts Bank who had agreed to provide MI-5 and CIA with a list of names and accounts from what the security services describe as the dirtiest bank in the world, but the bank want him even more, then for us off to bed.
