I Had Another Attempt At Making The Place Flood Proof,

tomorrow I am going to try to make the bathroom drains a bit taller,

all of this was brought on by a telephone call from Steve in the UK to say that a storm front is going to move in over the next few days, but during today Jay and Precil called by for a cup of tea and a chat,

then we made a move to the market, it was not looking good, looking towards Pattaya storm clouds,

 there were more forming inland,

I had a quick look at some fancy lights,

the stalls opposite the bar this week mercifully did not have any 'music' belting out,

lots of shorts to chose from,

 then a rainbow appeared,

although it does not look it in the picture a second rainbow appeared next to the first,

we should have run off to find the pot of money at the end of it, but I had just ordered another beer!

Brian and Sa along with Juu and Dang arrived, so it was catch up time with tales of flooding and woe, looking at the pictures in today's Pattaya Mail the whole of Pattaya was affected, not as I had thought just where we live, in fact the entire city had come to a complete standstill according to the newspapers, then time to head home, feet up after our evening meal and watch a few DVDs,

during the day I had bought a couple of pieces of Perspex and some hopefully water proof duct tape,

I had originally taped two clear pieces of Perspex across the front and back door thresholds, but it was only a matter of time before I forgot and walked through the front one smashing it to pieces! the only problem now being the water over flow in the bathrooms, a job for tomorrow,

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, was the eye candy for today, Frodo and Sam march on into Mordor, unprotected, a number of new allies join with Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Pippin and Merry, and they must defend Rohan and attack Isengard, stunning battle scenes and special effects, part three may be tomorrow,

this is one train journey I would love to go on with Diana, the Palace on Wheels, we watched spell bound as the train made its journey through the heart of Rajasthan, if only we had the money! but if you do here is the low down on prices,

we finished with some more eye candy on BluRay, Wild China, we only watched an hour or so, but beautifully photographed with a fascinating commentary, then for us off to bed.
