With The Camera In For Repair,

there are no pictures from yesterday,
the good news is that Diana will be home in a few days so I will have her camera when she returns, but the other piece of good news is that my one should have been repaired by today, so I will call in for it later,

as for yesterday we started out at the TukCom centre to drop the camera off for repair and spent some time watching people walk by at Starbucks on Pattayay Tai whilst having a coffee, moving on for a delicious roast lunch at the Punch and Judy, in the afternoon we watched a bit of television, for our evening meal we went to a uniquely Thai restaurant, I do not have a clue as to what it is called, but it did not really matter as it was packed full so we could not get a table,

so next stop to Third Road, just before the flyover going to the Bali Hai pier there is a large restaurant on the left, in the centre of each table a clay lined bucket with hot coals is placed in a hole in the table, a dish is placed on that and filled with water, the centre of the dish is higher so you place your food to be cooked there,

the place is a help and cook the food yourself, eat as much as you wish for 159 baht per person, there are about 10 or 12 different things to cook, pork, beef, chicken, shrimps, plus vegetables and noodles to chose from, again the place was full, I guess as today is a bank holiday many people have arrived from Bangkok and are making a long weekend of it, great fun cooking the food, there is also some precooked food like prawns and chicken legs, after arriving home for a dram or two for Steve and a red wine for myself it was off to bed.
