Straight On To Today's Post, As We Are Off To Immigration First Thing This Morning,

and today is? St. Valentines Day!

so sneaking out of the house before Diana woke up it was to the St. Valentines Day flower shop,

to buy a bunch of red roses, excuse the coffee jar I put them in!

but later Diana found a proper vase,

then off fishing and late breakfast/early lunch for Diana,

 soda for me,

there were a few people already here so we had to go to the end of the boardwalk, Nick is in the same spot he beat me 7 - 0 last time,

but first fish of the day to me,

but then it went a bit quiet,

the only action was watching the damselfly take off and land on my float,

then one more for the pot,

Diana had brought along some fairy cakes to get her through the afternoon,

 then Nicks first fish,

 followed by one from me,

in one of those strange twists of fate Diana had just mentioned that the ice cream man had not called by, not a minute later in the distance we heard his bell then he called into the park, as Diana said, delicious!

 another for me,

followed by one more from Nick,

final score 7 - 2 to me, we took three home and returned the rest for another day,

Ta-Taa's eyes have been bad for the past month or so, two or three times a day Nick has to wash them and administer a antibiotic cream, the good news is that she is showing signs of recovery, but it will be a few weeks till she is 100%,

after a lovely roast meal that Maureen cooked we settled down for a game of Monopoly, as you may have already guessed Nick became the Peter Rachman of the Monopoly board, in the nicest possible way you understand!

when we arrived home after a lovely day and evening Diana wanted to take another picture of her flowers,

then feet up for Kelly's Heroes, I had watched this film many years ago, Ex-Lieutenant Kelly manages get drunk a captured German Colonel and learn that he is on a secret mission to ship $16,000,000 of gold to a base in France, Kelly is determined to get the gold and plans for himself and a few of his fellow soldiers to slip into enemy territory and steal the bullion, think the The Italian Job, in war time, great film and characters, then for us off to bed.
