No Painting Today,

it was Sunday,

so for us off to lunch,

we had decided on the Beefeater for their Saturday/Sunday Mexican buffet, at a reasonable 250 baht each, but before we entered the restaurant we noticed a show taking place at the end of the pedestrian walkway,

 it was a dragon show,

normally these take place at the start of the Chinese new year,

music supplied by Hollywood Pattaya,

but today it was a fund raising show for one of the volunteer organisations,

as the show ended the performers climbed down from the pole,

 next stop the restaurant,

and on to the starters, we all had cheese, potato salad and slices of beef amongst other tit bits,

a quick shot of some of the main courses,

 Diana with her starters,

and then some of the main courses,

myself and Mr. Tony with ours,

after another trip or two to the buffet and a rest between each course it was time for desserts,

apple crumble for Mr. Tony and a shared chocolate covered meringue for us,

then we made a move for home,

as we were driving along Soi Lenkee we noticed this motorbike in the distance, which was not unusual,

 but the passenger was,

a scarlet macaw, the sights you see in Pattaya!

then feet up for the Sunday afternoon film, today Lost in Space, Diana and myself had watched it before, but Mr. Tony had not, I wrote when we first viewed it, 'I remember the series in the mid 1960's but in this film I do not know who it was intended for, cuddly alien for the kids which looked terrible for the adults, but scary creatures and a plot sure to unset the kids but great for Mums and Dads', but nice to watch it on the bigger television,

a quick look at Animusic 2 as I looked for another DVD, in case you have not heard of Animusic, have a look at their site,

I found it at last, Plunkett & Macleane, great film and music, Will Plunkett and Captain James Macleane, two men from different ends of the social spectrum in 18th-century England, enter a gentleman's agreement, they decide to rid the aristocrats of their belongings, with Plunkett's criminal know-how and Macleane's social connections, they team up to be soon known as "The Gentlemen Highwaymen",

we had seen the series of Black Books before, but Mr. Tony had not, the characters we already now know are even funnier the second or third time round for us, Black Books is a Bafta-winning sitcom about the antics of foul tempered and wildly eccentric bookshop owner Bernard Black, his long-haired and long-suffering assistant, Manny, and his best (in fact only) friend, Fran, Mr. Tony enjoyed it as much as we did,

we rounded the evening off with another from Judge John Deed, by now it was late so we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony, for us a great way to spend the day, next we were off to bed.
