Not Quiet The Shortest Bike Lane In The Country,

but pretty close,

this time Plymouth council took the initiative to make the bid for the shortest cycle lane in Great Britain, though to be fair it appears the council did not pay for it, a council spokeswoman said: ‘it was paid for by the developer of a power station as part of its planning obligations, the red area marks where the off-road pedestrian and cycle route ends and cyclists join with general traffic, it is designed to alert motorists to cyclists joining the road, as well as give cyclists the space to do safely,’ it still seems like a waste of resources but then I do not work for Plymouth council.
