We Had A Few Bills To Pay,

so we decided to call into what once was Carefour,

but is now Big C on Central Road,

bills paid and shopping done it was time for Diana's breakfast, I had already eaten,

but Diana had not,

what a way to start the day, an ice cream breakfast!

I spent the rest of the day playing stamps, but in the evening we watched a few films, snacking on some fresh strawberries thanks to Mr. Tony who had bought them for us,

first we watched Gattaca, we had watched before but some time ago, this is what I wrote then, 'a film set in the future, to travel to the stars you have to be 100% fit, but a menial worker assumes the identity of a fit person to travel, a good film, well worth watching, but I could not help thinking the futuristic cars were in fact 1960's Rover 2000 models with the chrome and badges taken off' but although seeing it before it was still gripping to watch it again,

the same could be said if the next film we watched The Shawshank Redemption, another powerful film well worth watching again, set in the 1940's, the film shows how Andy Dufresne, with the help of his friend Red, the prison entrepreneur, spend their time to forge a lasting friendship, many people claim that the film is based on a true life story, have a look here and you decide,

to bring the evening to an end we watched a few more from Dad's Army, then for us we were off to bed.
