We Were Up Early,

but the day did not start well,

for the past few days the water pump kept switching on and off quickly, it normally does that when the washing machine is on or when the water purifier is filling up, but I woke up and it was still pumping every few minutes or so, a quick look around the side of the house confirmed my fears, the pump was leaking, so unplugging it we made our way to immigration for my 90 day check in, what a surprise there was not a queue, as soon as I had filled in the form I was seen straight away, in and out in under a couple of minutes,

so we made our way along to Jomtien Beach Road for our breakfast,

to the Surf Kitchen, just past Soi 5,

it is a nice place to start the day, lots of plants and flowers add to the ambiance,

 like these orchids,

this morning for Diana a club sandwich,

an ice coffee and prawn salad for myself,

the Surf Kitchen from the outside,

we decided to drive along Thepprisitt Road to take a couple of pictures, as we stopped we saw this mobile chair stall go past,

but this was what we had come to take a picture of,

 the new Coliseum,

but what could it be? I at first thought a hotel, but then maybe a shopping mall with each unit being a different shop,

one of the reasons I thought shops was this huge series of buildings next door,

still like the Coliseum in early stages of construction,

but being next door to the Coliseum I thought of a new under cover market, time will tell,

back home and to the water pump,

a quick call to Arry and the offending part was removed, the pressure switch had decided to give up it's electric and mortal coil,

 Arry hard at work,

and there it is the new part fitted,

1,300 baht and one mug of sweet tea later and the pump was good to go,

after our evening meal we watched Monsters, despite it's rave reviews after just 20 minutes we were both thinking how boring it was, every time we thought it would liven up it took a further step into mediocrity, for us it was a dull as dull dishwater, I really have to say I do not know where all of the 5 stars on the cover came from,

then a real treat, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, now this was more like it! a totally enthralling first class action and fantasy film, we both hope a third is in the making, 100% enjoyment for us,

and what better way to round off the evening than a few more from L. A. Law we both enjoy the series so much, Izzy Ackerman or Is He Not, a funeral parlour has mixed up bodies with one being dissected and sold to medical schools, Leland McKenzie, the senior lawyer at the firm says, 'bring me the head of Izzy Ackerman!', great fun, then for us we were off to bed.
