Sunday Has Come Around Again,

so today we are off for Sunday lunch,

 to the Robins Nest,

in Soi Diana, just off of Soi Bukaow,

Diana decided not to have the 249 baht help yourself carvery,

but went with a miso soup,

as usual a full range of food was available for the carvery,

 a stater of minestrone soup,

then for the main course a selection of beef, pork, chicken, gammon ham, meat balls and cottage pie, all kept warm in a bath of warm water,

in the next section pigs in blankets with lots of fresh vegetables,

next to them, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, mash and roast potatoes,

we were joined to day by Slim Jim,

trying to look at the camera, smile, pour the wine without spilling any is not as easy as it looks,

then on to the included dessert, ice cream,

but as Diana did not have the Sunday carvery she chose a special dessert,

a Knickerbocker glory, nice it was too, well I just had to help her finish it!

we were about to leave when the rain came crashing down, so a coffee for Slim Jim,

and a latte coffee for myself, after the rain had finished we said our goodbyes to Slim Jim, then motorbike taxis home,

and a couple of films to while away a Sunday afternoon, first a classic comedy, The Ladykillers, the 1955 version, great fun for all, well except the killers,

after a evening snack we followed with A Man for All SeasonsSir Thomas More was the 16th-century Lord Chancellor of England which unfortunately led to him making the greatest sacrifice of all,

we followed this great film by 4 from Bones, we are really starting to enjoy this series, if only they would use basic forensic skills, for instance Special Agent Seeley Booth receives a package in the post, out of it pops a note saying 'back off' referring to a on going investigation, does he don gloves so as not to contaminant the note? no! he also then opens the package included with the note that contains a severed finger, all without gloves, pity the producers did not seek professional help when making the series, but apart from forensic slip ups it is quiet entertaining, after that we were off to bed.
