We Left The Elephant Camp,

and made out way back to the hotel,

the baht bus up and down the hills as usual,

none of the family sat on my side of the bus, thought to be fair I did have a bit of an elephant smell about me for some reason,

those hills are so steep, just a small thing when we went on the elephant trek there were just the 6 of us in all, we chose the earliest start, as we were leaving the next group arrived, 3 baht bus loads, 20+ people, so if you want the place more for yourself take the earliest tour,

back to the hotel for a shower,

meanwhile Diana took a few pictures of Dioshane,

and Sandio took some of them together,

going outside to hail a taxi I noticed these two bikes, the first a Honda I was not so keen on,

but this is something else,

a MV Agusta, what a bike!

I still remember back in the early 1960s when Mike 'Mike The Bike' Hailwood started riding for them,

we decided to spend the rest of the day at Lay Lay Tong Seafood restaurant, where we had stayed before, but there is now a slight problem, two places now share the same name, so to get to the beach we visited ask for the Flora i talay resort,

then getting off of the taxi walk about 50 meters going the same way the taxi was travelling,

you will see this sign,

follow the path to the beach,

and here we are,

just as we remembered it,

complete with the wrecking ball swing,

that Dioshane,

with a little help from Sandio,

just had to try,

next standing up on the ball,

it was all too much for me, so a look at the menu,

but Doishane was having a great time,

then it was Sandios turn,

with some help from Dioshane,

who then had another go herself,

it looked so much fun,

I thought about trying a swing, but then with my weight knowing my luck the branch would break and I would have to buy a new tree!

come on Sandio push harder!

with all of that work we needed a drink,

slushy's for the girls,

and a beer for me,

meanwhile Sandio and Mum had decided on a dip in the sea,

dinner is served,

a club sandwich and chips,

prawn tempera,

'Cheers!',

we also ordered beef in oyster sauce and some rice,

                                   the beef in oyster sauce,

Mum,

and Sandio settled for a beef burger and chips,

after lunch,

another few swings,

another glass of wine,

then after a exhausting day, elephant trekking in the morning and the beach in the afternoon, a siesta,

so after a nap we paid our bill, about 1,600 baht I believe and we were on our way,

this is a new development at the side of Lay Lay Tong on the right as we made our way back to hail a taxi,

back to the hotel after a shower we were back in the restaurant,

Dioshane wishing her younger brother a happy birthday,

coconut and drinks all round,

then on to our meal,

prawn cocktail for myself,

which gave the youngsters time for a few more games of football,

in a break of play our main courses arrived,

chicken for Dioshane and Sandio,

beef stew for Mum,

lasagna for Diana,

a steak for myself,

then another few football games, until it was time for a dessert,

surprise!

we had ordered a birthday cake for Sandio,

only Diana and myself knew about it,

so time to blow out the candles,

a huff and a puff,

and they were out,

a very happy Sandio,

knowing that everyone likes ice cream we ordered a ice cream cake,

complete with name,

the happy family,

the cake as you might expect was delicious, also before we left Pattaya we bought Sandio a present, so he will open it when we return to Pattaya, next a new football 10 game championship, which when finished made it late so we were all off to bed.
