We Had A Quiet Day,

Mark called round for a coffee and a chat,

but before that I had my breakfast, pumpernickel bread with a tuna and lite mayonnaise dressing, topped with cucumber and Diana's home grown miniature tomatoes,

we watched some television during the day, Diana also decided to give the front garden a bit of a tidy up, next my even meal, this time though with smoked salmon and a sprinkling of a frozen whole lemon over the top and of course we still had some tomatoes over from this morning,

in the evening we watched Noah, a spectacular movie, no doubt about that, though unlike many disaster movies not one I would want to watch again, I do not know what it lacked but for us it just lacked that certain something,

as we had now finished the excellent Life on Mars we started The Doctor Blake Mysteries, similar to other doctor/pathologist series it follows cases of murder, the series is set in Australia, story lines were very good, in fact we watched 4 episodes back to back, all very enjoyable, just one slight criticism, everything was so clean, the cars, clothes, buildings, not a speck of dust or grime to be seen anywhere, which although not that important it did detract from the realism of say Ripper Street, with that we were off to bed.
