First Thing,

we were off shopping,

to Friendship, tomorrow we are having our candlelit bar-b-q, so we called in for a steak,

the building next to the Friendship car park,

 seems to be nearing completion,

in the late afternoon we made our way to the weekend night market in Thepprasit Road, some cloud looking towards Jomtien,

zooming in a little the sky had a yellow look to it,

 with wispy clouds looking inland,

not a lot happening across from the bar tonight,

the roofs on the stalls now finished,

the first of the food aisles looking crowded,

this stall on the corner of the second aisle,

the assistant there turning the fish over on the bar-b-q,

these are Tilapia, (Oreochromis niloticus), the same as we catch when we go fishing, which seem to be getting popular all over the world, according to the National Fisheries Institute, the fish has climbed to become the fourth most eaten seafood in the U.S., behind only shrimp, salmon and canned tuna,

the second food aisle still had one truck unloading,

a few people looking at the pet section,

sunset over the market,

the section that was empty the last time we were here has now been rented out to some of the 10 or 20 baht per item stalls,

tempted though I was I walked past this attractive cake display,

and pans of fried chicken,

I made my way back to the bar,

where the stall behind it that normally sells cuddly toys has now moved on to selling temporary tattoos,

at least that is what I think they are, or it may be that they are transfers for putting on the front of 'T' shirts they seem that big,

this evening we were joined by Brian, we chatted for some time, after saying our farewells and our evening meal it was feet up for a couple from Colombo, then for us off to bed.
