We Had A Quiet Day,

but Diana had prepared a bit of a treat,

I could hear Diana in the kitchen, late in the afternoon she had finished a snack, whilst at Friendship she had bought a pack of quails eggs and here were some of them, made into mini Scottish eggs, a really nice afternoon snack,

just before our evening meal we popped out for some fresh fruit,

after our evening meal, we watched some television on TMN and followed that with 3 episodes of City of Vice, it is a historical drama very much based on what happened and recorded at the time, the series uses authentic historical research to tell the story of the two men battling to create a police force, 75 years before Robert Peel founded the Metropolitan Police, Henry Fielding’s memoirs and contemporary sources such as the Old Bailey Sessions Papers have been used to provide historical accuracy to the series, very enjoyable as many of the characters at the end of each episode have a small footnote added as to what eventually happened to them, our only wish, that it had subtitles, we followed that with 2 more episodes of Boardwalk Empire then for us we were off to bed.
