I Always Say It,

time just flies past,

 Sunday again,

so we were off to Soi Lengkee to park Mr. Tony's car, looking back towards Third Road,

 the new building nearing completion,

as was the one that can be seen from Soi Diana,

I called into the watch repair stall to pick up the watch I had left there the last time we were here,

and this is where we were going, The Robin's Nest,

Diana chose a dish from the menu,

 a Thai speciality,

the rest of us, Slim Jim,

 Jim and Cher, Mr, Tony,

and myself went with the 3 course 279 baht carvery,

 'Cheers!',

Cher and Jim with one of the waitresses, most of the staff including this one have been here for as far back as we can remember, it must be a happy place to work as they keep the same staff for so long,

for dessert a blueberry slushy for Diana,

after an ice cream a few coffees for all of us, a latte for myself,

we said goodbye to one of the managers here and to Slim Jim, Jim and Cher as we left, again excellent value for money and great service, we will be back!

and made our way back to the car,

passing some of the food stalls in Soi Lengkee,

 this one with dried meat,

or this one, a mobile garden plant centre,

we all thought this seemed like a good deal,

at 100 baht a day, a great way to explore the city,

back to the car meeting this seller on the way,

we stopped off briefly in Friendship,

so a quick picture of one of the statues on the inside of the car park,

then home feet up and a few chocolates, as an aside last week at the end of one of our post I mention the Milk Tray man, 'all because the lady loves Milk Tray' well this week it appears it is the 100th anniversary of the Milk Tray box, so to celebrate the advent after a 13 year absence the hero who for 35 years sneaked the famous chocolates into ladies bedrooms is making a return, His successor arrives back in October with the slogan, 'All because the lady still loves Milk Tray',

we watched Bronson with Mr. Tony a tour de force by the star of the film Tom Hardy, then after saying our goodbyes,

we watched Automata, a film that looks at the bleak outlook of life after almost all of earth's humans wipe each other out and of the robots that are invented to help, but predictably some go rogue, but for the better or worse?

we rounded of the evening with Lucy, after a drug package in her stomach leaks, Lucy is transformed into a superhuman who with help takes of the drug lord that made her a drug mule and with that we were off to bed.
