We Made A Quick Visit To The Bank,

then over Pattaya Beach Road,

looking at the entrance to Walking Street,

the television screen working and the images easy to see even in bright sunlight,

Pattaya beach, looking from the walkway leading to the Pattaya Beer Garden, where we were headed and going to eat,

 our meals arrive,

 3 mini hamburgers for Diana,

and a prawn cocktail for myself,

next stop the Friendship supermarket,

we did not need anything from the new building that has everything the kitchen and chef could possibly need,

shopping done and home we went past the shrine in the car park, we stopped off for a ice tea and coffee on the way home,

after a couple of hours we were off again, to the Thepprasit Road weekend night market,

 looking towards Jomtien blue skies,

 construction work still ongoing,

blue skies looking inland as well,

opposite the bar tonight a stall selling condos and a clothes stall,

I made my way past the clothes aisles,

to the new covered over fresh and cooked food section,

one of the stalls trucks still unloading,

on to the second covered over area,

the slushy stall still here but in a different position,

behind the covered area there is now a new aisle with a Chicky Chic stall on the corner,

this aisle is where the pet section used to be and backs on to it,

if you did not know the pet section was here you could easily miss it,

 I thought these looked neat,

 dog hats,

and for the mobile on motorbike dogs, crash helmets,

the markets shrine in the far corner,

 sunset over the market,

behind the scenes, a view from behind the sales area,

the new project being offered on one of the stalls behind the bar,

then a bit of a rarity, a right hand drive Ford Mustang, a V8 as it happened, there are a number of nice cars that are seen about town that are right hand drive, but in the country they come from it is a left hand drive country, I have been told that when Embassy staff and members of the armed forces were station out here they were allowed to order cars from their home countries but have them delivered here in right hand drive, hence you can see old Fords like this one and others like Citroens, Chevrolets etc, whether that is true or not and if it still happens today I do not know, but it may explain the number of old right hand drive cars out here,

tonight we were joined by Jim and Mr. Tony,

 along with Cher and Brian,

after putting the world to rights and saying our farewells we decide to eat at the Jolly Friar,

it is renown for, you guessed it, it's fish and chips, the cod they use is Norwegian, but local fish are also available,

a medium size Norwegian cod for Diana,

and a large one for me, plus some mini gherkins and I was in heaven, a motorbike taxi home,

feet up for a couple from Foyle's War and we were off to bed.
