Clean, Safe, Drinkable Water,

so many of us take it for granted,

but for many there is not an option for clean water, but here is an idea if it becomes cheap enough that might help, the U.S. military asked back country outfitter Mountain Safety Research (MSR) to create a device that could protect troops from water-borne illness anywhere they deploy, their answer, the MSR Guardian Purifier,

the specifications are that it will produce 2.5 liters a minuet, it is good for 10,000 liters and is self cleaning, it can withstand being frozen and dropped on to a concrete floor form the height of 6 feet, although aimed primary at the army for each soldier perhaps a large unit could be made for use in villages with no drinkable water, what a Christmas present that would make! the product according to its makers website states that it should be available early in the new year.
