Most Photographs Are Taken Looking Horizontally,

some times looking up,

but in the case of photographer Loes Heerink she has taken a different approach, looking down, she has just completed a series of pictures taken from bridges in the early hours of the morning of street vendors in Hanoi,

the work takes patience, "I once spent five hours in a location with no shots," Loes explains on her new Kickstarter campaign, "This project started my fascination for the women carrying their goods, they have no clue how beautiful their bicycles are, no idea they create little pieces of art every day."

Loes's dream is to expand the project to 100 images and publish a book to celebrate the beauty of these hardworking street vendors, through Kickstarter, Loes hopes to raise funds for a return trip to Vietnam, what a great idea, not only how to take pictures from a different point of view, but to generate funds for her next trip, and no I am not on commission!
