This Is Aimed At Anyone Thinking About Taking Up Photography,

but has not because it is to expensive,

Skyler Adams has self-diagnosed 'gear acquisition syndrome' and wanted to challenge her condition by shooting with a $1 camera for an entire month,

so off to a thrift shop, and there it was, a Canon Sure Shot camera, she bought it along with an expired roll of Fujifilm Superia 400 film for $2, so out she went,

and took some pictures, these are some of them, you can see more of them here,

all told, the film processing and scanning cost her $8, bringing the total price tag to a modest $10, so an important lesson, it is not the camera that necessarily makes a good picture, it is the person pressing the shutter, so if you are having a think about taking up photography, try going to your local thrift or charity store and buying the cheapest working camera you can and spend the weekend taking a few snaps.
