Today We Were Going Fishing,

but as we were about to leave Arry arrived,

at long last we had made the decision to have gutters fitted at the front of the house, when it rained the noise of falling water where the two roofs meet above the door was so loud we had to close the front door and still turn up the volume on the television,

so we had to leave an electric cable outside for them,

 the supports were soon fitted,

this is the corner where the roofs meet,

the gully's roughly cut to size,

then nicely leaded together, as they are coated with zinc it is more than a little dangerous to weld them,

 then we were off fishing,

 the tackle/bait shop and cafe,

 in the blue box loudspeakers,

the shop from where we were,

and the first fish of the day,

 then one to Nick,

we had already sent two to the kitchen and were going to take some home for the kittens,

and these are the two we caught earlier,

it might be small but it still counts as one!

what a great way to spend the day,

Nick changed gear and went for a bigger fish, and was successful until one broke his line, it sounded like a pistol shot,

Diana was happy with a hammock to lie in, we lost track of the score so we just continued with who ever caught the next fish was in the lead, I won by two fish,  the Paifon Fishing Park is off of Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds), turn into the Soi from Sukhumvitt, once in the Soi go over the railway crossing and continue for a couple of miles, the road starts to go downhill, near the bottom of it you will see a big pink building on the left where we normally turn right into the old fishing park, do not turn right, keep going until you see Soi 24 and turn right there, continue for about a mile then turn left again it is past Soi 14, the concrete road comes to a strange cross road,
take the one with the sign on it and the park is on the right hand side, after fishing we popped into Kick and Maureen's for coffee and cake, then after thanking them made a move for home,

arriving home the gutters had been finished,

the waste water leading down the pipe on the left of the picture, so now completed it will not rain for some time to come! the kittens as you might guess were so glad to see us,

after our evening meal we settled down to another from What Remains, the story centres on a house and the tenants living there past and present, a gripping drama that gets better every episode,

and rounded off the evening with a few from 3rd Rock From The Sun, and with that we were off to bed.
