Day 15,

I took myself off to Bromley,

early in the morning as we had a busy day planned,

 walking from the station,

this is where I wanted to go for a quick haircut,

in no time at all I was on my way to the bus stop passing the flower stall,

outside the entrance to The Glades,

 up the High Street,

 through the market square,

I decided I had enough time to take a couple of pictures of the front of The Partridge,

 and the carving,

 over the door,

I also popped around the corner,
to take a few pictures of the parish church of Bromley,

St. Peter and St. Paul, and its grounds entrance,

 and latch gate,

arriving back at Steve and Kai's home a magpie paid the garden a visit,

 and then we were off,

 passing new buildings,

 on our way to London,

there always seems to be work in progress,

at what was once the Battersea power station

I guess it will be finished one day,

next from Victoria railway station, just one stop on the tube to Green Park,

 with it's ornate statue,

a quick pose by the girls,

and we were off, and this is where we are going, for a afternoon cream tea at The Ritz

 we were a bit early,

so some shopping was in order,

and this is where we started,

one of the many shopping arcades,

 in the area,

now it is my turn for a picture,

 and here is another one,

 that stretches into the distance,

what a neat car for London, or any big city for that matter,

you can almost get three of them in one parking space, well certainly two of them,

and here we are in The Ritz,

Steve and Kai came with us,

and what better way to start the afternoon,

 than a glass of bubbly?

 'Cheers!',

tea is served, along with the sandwiches and cakes,

 a quick pose,

and the scones and fresh cream appear as if by magic,

and we had not even started on the cakes yet,

then the dessert trolley, it might seem a bit rushed, but it was far from it,

the service as you might expect was perfect,

 as were the desserts,

more tea vicar? as the saying goes,

at the end of the tea,

 a quick photo-shoot,

 then coats on,

 and we took a walk,

I rather like the clock on this building,

 all three of them,

we made our way to Piccadilly Circus,

 with it's ever changing billboards,

 and statue of Eros,

 and continued walking,

 towards Leicester Square,

 and China Town,

the walk towards it was pretty crowded,

 but once in the street,

 it was fairly quiet,

so a walk along the street,

taking in some of the restaurants on the way,

 and as you might imagine,

 there are plenty of them,

 but having eaten,

as it happens we were given more sandwiches as we finished the first plateful,

we decided not to have a meal,

we went past the Swiss clock,

which just happened to be chiming as we walked past,

so we had a good look,

 as the figures went around,

we continued towards the tube station,

and ultimately Victoria train station then home, a nightcap and we were all off to bed.
