Day 24,

I was up early,

I needed to get the tram link to Croydon,

as I was popping down to see Phil who lives in Rudgwick,

 we both like things automotive,

so we were looking under the bonnet of his new Mercedes,

the amount of wiring and censors looked absolutely frightening,

it might be brand new, but it could do with a wash!

Phil had a bit of luck in buying a piece of land next to him, with a pond, but the biggest part of the land is towards the rear garden, so a home extension is on the cards!

you may remember this the last time we were here, it was in a bit of a state, well now with a new front wheel rim, hub and spokes, along with many other parts replaced it is all set for the summertime cruises,

one of Phil's cats called by,

 and a few more,

question, what are these? a clue they are made from CoCrMo, or cobalt-chrome, molybdenum alloy, which has been cast, and I could do with a pair, the company Phil works for makes these and many other high quality castings,

they are knee joints, I wonder if they have them in my size?

off for lunch,

but I had to look at this in the pub car park,

it is owned by the publicans son and competed in the Crumball Rally,

you customise your car in any way you want to,

glitterballs are optional, for a look at some of the crazy cars that enter, have a look here

into the Kings Head we went,

fish and chips for two, we chatted the evening away,

and time things just right a this was the second to last tram to Beckenham, arriving at Steve and Kai's a few nightcaps and I was off to bed.
